I nuovi parlamentari non si sono ancora insediati ma si sono, nondimeno, definiti, e Legambiente ha appena inviato loro una lettera aperta con i 5 punti fondamentali da realizzare subito per il bene dell’ambiente e del paese nel suo complesso.
Legambiente enuclea, in una lettera ai nuovi parlamentari, i temi fondamentali da affrontare subito: la messa in secondo piano (una buona volta) delle fonti combustibili fossili, un piano per la messa in sicurezza del territorio arginandone il consumo di suolo, l’abbandono dei tanti, costosi e distruttivi piani per le grandi opere pubbilche (Tav e Ponte sullo stretto in primis), la lotta alle ecomafie e alla corruzione con contorno di legge contro l’abusivismo edilizio (e non a favore del condono, come espresso dal Pdl in campagna elettorale), nonché una più moderna visione del ciclo dei rifiuti, naturalmente puntando su differenziata e limitando il più possibile l’uso degli inceneritori e dei cementifici in funzione di inceneritori di rifiuti solidi secondari, come sciaguratamente deciso dal ministro Clini in uno dei suoi ultimi giorni in Parlamento.
Il presidente Vittorio Cogliati Dezza ha dichiarato:
C’è bisogno di ricette nuove per dare una spallata a questa crisi, c’è bisogno di un’inversione di rotta rispetto a scelte economiche vecchie ed energivore, c’è bisogno di una politica industriale che faccia propri i temi della green economy abbandonando le opzioni di sviluppo ormai superate del secolo scorso basate sul cemento e sulle fonti fossili. C’è bisogno di una nuova moralità e di coesione sociale.
I responsabili di Legambiente che hanno redatto la lettera hanno inoltre riservato una implicita (ma neanche tanto) strizzatina d’occhio ai nuovi arrivati:
La presenza fra le vostre fila di così tanti giovani, di tante donne e la diffusa presenza di temi squisitamente ambientali fra le parole d’ordine di tanti di voi rappresentano la migliore base di partenza per costruire le buone risposte alla crisi di cui il Paese ha bisogno.
Guardiamo avanti, sembra dire Legambiente, e cambiamo, ora che la voglia di cambiamento sembra essere più diffusa che mai.
