L’ospedale Versilia, classe energetica B, è la struttura più green del paese

L’ospedale Versilia si dota di impianti di cogenerazione di ultimo tipo, in particolare di una turbina a gas Capstone C600 che vale la certificazione energetica di classe B. L’ospedale Versilia diventa il più green del paese, e sarà anche il primo in Europa dotato di una certificazione energetica di classe B.

La struttura era già provvista di impianti per la produzione propria di energia: a questi andrà ad affiancarsi quello di cogenerazione a turbina, che consente il risparmio di 210 Teo e 600 mila kg di CO2 all’anno. Il commissionamento della nuova turbina a gas Capstone C600 è previsto per ottobre 2012.

L’ospedale si trova a Lido di Camaiore in provincia di Lucca, è stato inaugurato nel 2002 e segue principi di adeguamento alla skyline del territorio e di rispetto dell’ambiente. Non solo l’Ospedale Versilia è stato costruito rispettando criteri di sostenibilità ambientale, ma i responsabili hanno guidato la struttura verso un consumo energetico sempre minore nel corso degli anni, segnando negli otto anni successivi all’apertura un -30% nei consumi. Il nuovo, grande sistema di cogenerazione che verrà presto installato produrrà 600 kwel, 630 kg/h di vapore a 8 bar e 400 kw di acqua calda fino a 90 gradi, e non solo, attraverso un particolare procedimento parte dell’energia “di scarto” dello stesso impianto di cogenerazione verrà utilizzata come energia frigorifera. Un impianto top, che permette una massimizzazione dell’efficienza energetica dell’intero edificio.

La Capstone, azienda produttrice di questo impianto di grande efficienza, è l’unica a possedere il brevetto oil-free della tecnologia cogenerativa a gas. Una soluzione che permette di unire una serie di vantaggi, dalla manutenzione ridotta all’alta efficienza passando per la caratteristica di non richiedere oli o liquidi refrigeranti. L’impianto sarà prodotto, in accordo con la Capstone, da un’azienda di Treviso. Il commissionamento è previsto per ottobre, l’entrata in funzione entro il prossimo autunno.
