In questi giorni abbiamo parlato molto di smog, di domeniche ecologiche e di blocchi delle auto per limitare i livelli di PM10 nell’aria e riportare i valori di inquinamento atmosferico nella norma, o almeno per renderli meno dannosi per la salute dei cittadini di quanto non lo siano con il traffico, i riscaldamenti invernali delle nostre case e i fumi delle industrie. Ma tu, ti sei mai chiesto che aria respiri?
Bergamo, Milano, Torino sono state le città più inquinate della settimana, con i livelli di PM10 superati per oltre 10 giorni consecutivi, seguite da Roma, e nella tua città, che aria si respira?
Per conoscere i valori dell’inquinamento atmosferico in Italia e anche in che modo comportarsi a seconda della qualità dell’aria nella tua città, vai sul sito La Mia Aria. Nella homepage del portale per il monitoraggio dello smog vi è la cartina d’Italia con la legenda a lato che mette in risalto un Paese dalla qualità dell’aria accettabile-mediocre, con picchi di elevato inquinamento nell’area Padana, come già sappiamo. Imposta la ricerca sul comune in cui abiti e potrai conoscere i valori dell’inquinamento atmosferico, la qualità dell’aria che respiri. Ti apparirà una scheda con il comune scelto con la qualità dell’aria del giorno in corso e dei quattro successivi, scandita per fasce orarie: dalle 6.00 alle 12.00, dalle 12.00 alle 18.00 e dalle 18.00 alle 24.00. La tua aria avrà un colore a seconda della sua qualità:
- azzurro-verde se l’aria è eccellente e accettabile;
- giallo, se mediocre con alcuni rischi per i soggetti più sensibili, come bambini e anziani;
- arancione, se insalubre per i gruppi sensibili. In tal caso questi soggetti a rischio possono avvertire effetti sintomatici che compromettono la loro salute;
- rosso, se l’aria è insalubre. A questo livello tutti i soggetti possono incominciare ad avvertire effetti sulla salute, mentre bambini e anziani possono incorrere a rischi sanitari più gravi;
- viola chiaro, l’aria è molto insalubre. Si tratta di stato d’allarme per inquinamento con possibili rischi sanitari rilevanti.
- viola scuro, l’aria che respiri è pericolosa. Ora si tratta di stato d’emergenza.
