Il 21 marzo uscirà nei cinema italiani La volpe e la bambina, film girato nel Parco Nazionale dell’Abruzzo. Il regista Luc Jacques sembra essere particolarmente sensibile al tema del rapporto fra l’uomo e la natura, considerando che già qualche anno fa ci aveva incantato con l’ormai celebre film-documentario La marcia dei pinguini. (Se non lo avete ancora visto correte a noleggiarlo! Ne vale la pena).
E’ sempre di un regista francese, Jacques Perrin, un altro capolavoro sui teneri abitanti dell’Antartide, Il popolo migratore, e anche questo merita pienamente di essere visto.
Ma cosa avranno di speciale i pinguini imperiali, da suscitare così tanto interesse nel genio creativo di chi fa cinema?
Di risposte ce ne sarebbero molte, ma mai nessuna è più eloquente della semplice descrizione del loro modo di vivere.
Eh si, perchè i pinguini imperiali sono spinti più che dalla voglia di riprodursi, dall’amore. E nella coppia i compiti sono suddivisi equamente (senza che per questo siano state ingaggiate peregrinose lotte femministe!).
E’ la natura che insegna, ancora una volta… all’uomo.

Lei se ne torna al mare, a recuperare cibo e forze, e ricompare dopo qualche mese a dare il cambio al maschio, stremato da un periodo di incubazione che dura da 90 a 120 giorni durante i quali rimane imperterrito in mezzo alla bufera, costretto a muoversi come sui tacchi, per tenere il suo uovo al caldo in una speciale sacca sulle sue zampe.
