Il propulsore bicilindrico FPT garantisce un abbattimento delle emissioni di CO2 pari al 30% rispetto ad un motore dalle medesime prestazioni, ossia tra i 65 e i 105 CV, che produce anidride carbonica pari a 92 g/Km con cambio Dualogic e 95 g/Km con trasmissione meccanica. La tecnologia è anche dotata di una speciale fluidodinamica che serve ad ottimizzare il consumo di carburante.
Casa Fiat presenta anche altre piccole auto ecologiche: la Panda GPL, Fiat Bravo e il Doblò Emotion. La Panda, vettura cult del marchio anche se ha compiuto il 30simo anno di età, continua ad essere una delle auto Fiat più vendute, con oltre 6 milioni di modelli in attivo. Il modello che sarà presentato al Salone di Parigi ha motore 1.2 da 69 CV a doppia alimentazione, a benzina e GPL.
La Fiat Bravo è quella che suscita maggior interesse perché è la vettura più ecologica della casa automobilistica, con motore 1.4 MultiAir da 140 CV e sistema Sart&Stop: le sue emissioni di anidride carbonica sono di 132 g/Km, inoltre per fascia di consumi e disponibilità di coppia è tra le migliori, con 5,7 l/100 Km nel ciclo combinato e 230 Nm a 1750 giri/min in coppia massima. La nuova versione Doblò Emotion è Euro 5 con motore 1.6 da 90 CV e tecnologia FPT. La tecnologia ecosostenibile dei nuovi modelli Fiat è anche Gear Shift Indicator, un sistema in grado di suggerire al guidatore la marcia da inserire per ottimizzare i consumi, per ora montato solo sui modelli Fiat 500 e 500C.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
