Il tema dell’ecologia quest’anno è alla base del concorso di fumetto e illustrazione, verde, EcoComics 2011, Ripensare l’ecologia: le nuove sfide si affrontano con ironia.
L’ironia è il modo per trattare l’ecologia, ecologia come bene comune, come risorsa, patrimonio della natura, ma anche ecologia da salvaguardare, perché l’ecologia è fatta anche di acque contaminate, di cementificazione, di rifiuti che si riversano sulle strade di Napoli e dell’Italia, ecologia è anche il tema dei cambiamenti climatici, dell’inquinamento, delle emissioni di gas serra. Come spiegano gli organizzatori di EcoComic 2011, dell’Associazione di promozione Sociale La Foglia, l’obiettivo
E’ quello di ripensare l’ecologia fuori dai normali schemi proposti in cui sembra essere solo un insieme di regole da rispettare piuttosto che un’opportunità da cogliere ed un sistema integrale con il quale imparare a convivere. I temi da affrontare sono molti a partire dalle grandi sfide globali per la salvaguardia degli ecosistemi fino ad arrivare alle pratiche quotidiane e all’attivismo ecologico.
Ripensare l’ecologia attraverso l’illustrazione è un modo per sensibilizzare tutti al mondo che sta cambiando, al far capire che ognuno può fare la sua parte. Questo messaggio però deve essere celato dall’ironia, dal paradosso, dalla satira, e soprattutto in modo originale. I fumetti, le vignette, le illustrazioni sul tema dell’ecologia dovranno essere consegnate entro il 15 febbraio 2011. Le opere saranno selezionate da una giuria di esperti dello staff de La Foglia, Ecoagenda di Roma, e da fumettisti e grafici professionisti. Solo 20 opere parteciperanno alla finale e potranno aggiudicarsi i primi cinque posti, compresa la pubblicazione sul mensile La Foglia della propria vignetta, e l’esposizione a Roma dell’opera in una mostra dedicata.
