E’ Belluno, secondo Legambiente, la città italiana dove si vive meglio. Lo svela il rapporto sull’Ecosistema Urbano che l’associazione ambientalista, insieme a il Sole 24 Ore, stila ogni anno per capire quali sono i posti in cui si vive meglio (e di conseguenza anche quelli dove si vive peggio), secondo oltre 125 parametri ambientali e 27 indicatori diversi di qualità (dalla pressione ambientale delle attività dell’uomo, all’inquinamento, fino alle attività politiche per migliorare la situazione).
Da quest’anno, con grande gioia da parte nostra, tra gli indici di Legambiente sono stati inseriti anche quelli sull’utilizzo delle energie rinnovabili, non soltanto sul piano politico e quindi sulla grande massa, ma anche su quello personale, e cioè sulle iniziative che ogni singolo cittadino ha preso per sè stesso, e di conseguenza anche per il resto del mondo.
Il peso maggiore sugli indicatori è stato attribuito all’aria, cioè a parità di altri parametri, ha ottenuto una miglior posizione la città con un minore inquinamento atmosferico. Molto importanti anche le iniziative dei comuni sul traffico, sull’acqua e sullo smaltimento dei rifiuti. Per tutte queste ragioni, a seguire Belluno, che ricordiamolo è arrivata al primo posto per la seconda volta di fila, c’è Siena, seguita da Trento. Fa impressione vedere che dai dati ne esce molto male la Lombardia. Nonostante Ecopass e altre invenzioni, Milano continua a viaggiare molto basso, e Bergamo e Mantova che erano arrivate l’anno scorso seconda e terza, sono finite una quindicesima e l’altra oltre il ventesimo posto.
Il vero cruccio dell’Italia resta ancora una volta il Sud. Infatti la prima città meridionale che troviamo in classifica è Cagliari al trentacinquesimo posto, mentre per trovare le altre bisogna scendere vertiginosamente molto più giù, fino alle ultime posizioni, in cui si ritrovano quasi esclusivamente città meridionali. La peggiore in assoluto è risultata Frosinone, mentre le regioni dove si vive meglio sono il Nord-Est (Veneto ed Emilia Romagna su tutte), seguite dal Nord-Ovest (Liguria e Piemonte). Un dato incoraggiante per il Sud però c’è. Infatti il dato sull’anidride carbonica è sceso di molto, fino quasi a scomparire nella Provincia di Catania, tra le più meritevoli d’Italia, grazie soprattutto ad un efficiente servizio pubblico. Si distinguono da questo punto di vista anche Cosenza e Caserta.
Infine, se diamo un’occhiata ai grandi centri urbani, il dato è misto, perchè vede Milano migliorarsi e passare dal 58° al 49° posto, mentre Roma scendere dal 55° al 70°. La metropoli con il miglioramento maggiore risulta essere Bari, passata dall’82° al 60° posto, grazie alla campagna massiccia voluta dal comune sulla raccolta differenziata.
Scusate, ma bari è passata dall’82° posto al 42°! Non solo per la differenziata, ma anche per il lavoro aumentato, le infrastrutture, l’intelligenza nelle campagne di sensibilizzazione…..
