Bracconaggio, non fermate l’Operazione Pettirosso

Per fermare il bracconaggio e la pratica dell’uccellagione, che ogni anno miete pettirossi e uccelli nelle valli del Bresciano, l’autunno parte l’Operazione Pettirosso del Nucleo Operativo Antibracconaggio del Corpo Forestale di Stato. L’operazione, che spesso coinvolge i volontari della LIPU e delle altre associazioni ambientaliste, ha una durata di 5 settimane ma quest’anno si vuole chiudere il 23 ottobre. Per questo le associazioni animaliste hanno scritto una lettera al ministro delle Politiche Agricole e Forestali Luca Zaia e al comandante del Corpo Forestale dello Stato Cesare Patrone

Siamo sconcertati, terminare ora l’attività di contrasto al bracconaggio nei boschi del Bresciano significa consegnare decine di migliaia di uccelli nelle mani dei bracconieri. Che prosegua fino alla fine del periodo migratorio per garantire un efficace contrasto alla caccia illegale.

L’appello che le associazioni di tutela del patrimonio animale, come LIPU, ENPA, WWF Italia, LAC, LAV e Fare Verde hanno rivolto al ministro Zaia e al comandante Pratone ribadisce come l‘Operazione Pettirosso sia stata efficace negli anni passati per fermare la pratica del bracconaggio e soprattutto, nel contrastare il fenomeno dell’uccellagione, mettendo sotto pressione bracconieri e ristoranti del Bresciano. Come si legge nella lettera già quest’anno le settimane di intervento del NOA sono state ridotte da 5 a 4. A maggior ragione

Terminare ora con un’ulteriore settimana di anticipo [23 ottobre] mentre migliaia di piccoli uccelli in migrazione attraversano le valli del Bresciano, significa che decine di migliaia di essi cadranno dalla prossima settimana vittime dei bracconieri, che li cattureranno con reti, tagliole e trappole. Grazie alla costante azione del Corpo Forestale dello Stato il fenomeno del bracconaggio ha conosciuto nel Bresciano una decisa riduzione senza però cessare di rappresentare un pericolo per la fauna in migrazione: lo dimostrano le oltre 70 notizie di reato trasmesse fino ad oggi alla procura della Repubblica e gli oltre 120 bracconieri denunciati durante l’Operazione Pettirosso dello scorso anno.

Il mantenimento dell’operazione antibracconaggio è necessaria, concludono le associazioni

per garantire il rispetto della legalità e la tutela della fauna.

  31. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
