All’Expo 2015 di Milano il padiglione della Repubblica Ceca, realizzato dallo studio Chybik + Kristof Associated Architects, focalizzerà l’attenzione dei visitatori sull’importanza fondamentale dell’acqua per la Terra, sulla gestione delle risorse idriche, sull’interconnessione tra le stesse e la capacità alimentare e produttiva del nostro pianeta.
L’invito al padiglione della Repubblica Ceca dell’Expo 2015 di Milano lanciato dai suoi creatori è il seguente: “Come to swim to our Czech Re:Pubblic Pool!”. Il gioco di parole fa rierimento alla piscina esterna utilizzabile da tutti e riutilizzabile, peraltro, che incarnerà l’argomento principale del padiglione, ovvero quello dell’acqua. L’idea di godere dell’acqua è strettamente connessa alla possibilità di continuare a fruirne, e pertanto alla sua oculata gestione.

Un progetto che segue i principi dell’Expo 2015 in tema di sostenibilità, impiegando materiali riciclabili e che e a conclusione dell’evento di Milano, previsto il 31 maggio 2015, il padiglione verrà riutilizzato in patria per diventare un asilo nido
come ha avuto modo di spiegare il commissario generale del Padiglione della Repubblica Ceca, Jiří František Potuznik. Il padiglione della Repubblica Ceco, bianco, moderno, fortemente attento ai temi della sostenibilità ambientale in architettura, proporrà ai visitatori riflessioni incentrate sul tema delle politiche da adottare, a livello locale, nazionale e globale, per preservare l’oro blu e per riuscire a gestire meglio (sprecando meno) le fondamentali risorse idriche del nostro pianeta.
L’acqua come “laboratorio della vita” è il tema del padiglione realizzato per l’Expo che si terrà nel capoluogo lombardo il prossimo anno, con focus sulle possibilità di depurazione dell’acqua, sul miglioramento della qualità di quella fruibile, sulla lotta agli sprechi sempre, terribilmente colossali, quando si parla di acqua.
Il tema delle risorse idriche verrà affrontato in più padiglioni: come abbiamo visto in precedenza, entro una differente declinazione, sarà anche uno degli argomenti affrontati nel padiglione del Kuwait.
