Anche la Sardegna si apre al turismo eco-sostenibile e lo fa presentando il progetto per del primo eco-ostello dell’isola. La struttura sarà solo l’inizio di un vasto programma di riqualificazione ambientale del Comune di Buggerru, in provincia di Carbonia-Iglesias.
L’eco-ostello è presentato durante un convegno, dall’assessore regionale dell’Ambiente Giorgio Oppi. Sarà realizzato tra la costa sul mare e le vecchie miniere, in un paesaggio naturalistico fortemente suggestivo. L’ostello sorgerà in un edificio storico del 1865, già in passato riconvertito prima ad ospedale minerario e poi ad asilo. Ora che l’area è stata totalmente riqualificata, diverrà una località per il turimo ecologico.
