Mangiare biologico: no a pesticidi e additivi chimici

L’alimentazione svolge un ruolo fondamentale nel mantenimento dello stato di salute e, ad oggi, sono in corso innumerevoli lavori di ricerca che mettono in relazione le caratteristiche nutrizionali di alcuni alimenti con la prevenzione e la terapia di numerose patologie. Infatti, gli studi epidemiologici mostrano quanto le abitudini alimentari incidano sulla comparsa di numerose patologie degenerative , come i tumori e le malattie cardiocircolatorie. In assenza o in carenza di tali nutrienti, il nostro organismo assolve con difficoltà alle sue molteplici funzioni, fino a che il suo precario equilibrio si altera, ed una cattiva abitudine alimentare può sfociare in malattia.

Ecco perché molti scelgono di “mangiare biologico” ritenendola un’alimentazione sana: i prodotti biologici infatti sono quelli che, “dal campo alla tavola“, non vengono mai a contatto con pesticidi e additivi chimici nocivi all’uomo e all’ambiente e, grazie al metodo totalmente naturale con il quale vengono coltivati e trasformati, mantengono inalterato l’equilibrio tra sali minerali, vitamine e proteine che sono per noi gli elementi nutrizionali essenziali. Nei prodotti biologici non sono ammessi conservanti e coloranti ma soltanto additivi di sicura origine naturale. Per la Normativa Europea , inoltre, i cibi bio non possono contenere organismi geneticamente modificati.


I dati contenuti nella ricerca dell’ ISMEA – Istituto di Servizi per il Mercato Agricolo Alimentare rilevano chiaramente che il 2007 è stato l’anno del boom del biologico: a spiccare sono soprattutto il +25% per il comparto ortofrutticolo e il +9,9% per quello lattiero caseario (queste due voci, insieme, rappresentano ben il 38% della spesa bio degli italiani). I numeri relativi al 2007 inoltre, confermano un decisivo miglioramento delle vendite anche dei prodotti per infanzia (+32%), delle bevande analcoliche (+18%), degli oli (+6%) e riso e pasta (+15%). Negativa soltanto la flessione del pane biologico, che ha fatto registrare una riduzione di circa il 3%. Tirando le somme, secondo il rapporto ISMEA, la spesa domestica per gli acquisti di prodotti biologici ha fatto segnare l’anno scorso una crescita del 10% rispetto al 2006.

  4. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
